Tropic Thunder remains at the top of box office for third weekend

Dream Works big-budget film Tropic Thunder held on to the box office crown for the third weekend, with an estimated 11.5 million dollars.

According to studio estimates, Vin Diesel’’s sci-fi thriller Babylon A.D. grossed an estimated 9.7 million dollars in its first weekend to land at No. 2, reports E! Online.

The Dark Knight climbed to the third spot with weekend receipts of 8.8 million dollars.

Campus comedy The House Bunny came fourth after earning 8.3 million dollars.

Rounding off the top five was ”Traitor”, which raked in 7.9 million dollars.

The top ten films at the weekend box office are:

3. The Dark Knight ($8.8m)

4. The House Bunny ($8.3m)

5. Traitor ($7.9m)

6. Death Race ($6.2m)
