The B.Ed. programme through Distance mode of
Bharathidasan University will be offered through its Department
of Education, Centre for Distance Education (CDE) with an
annual intake of 500. Teachers working in recognized schools
in Tamil Nadu and having a minimum of 2 years of school
teaching experience are eligible to apply. The programme is
designed specifically for untrained working/in-service teachers
who wish to enhance their teaching skills and techniques. This
programme will allow the working teachers to earn a B.Ed.
Degree, without any interruption in their present teaching career.
Faculty
The Department of Education of the Centre for Distance
Education of the University has a team of well qualified and
experienced teachers. They will be available for academic
counselling, guidance and help.
