Her career has kept Deepika busy for three long years. She has been away from her hometown, Bangalore for quite a long time for films and modelling. Her family misses her a lot especially her five-year old younger sister, Alisha who is a professional golfer. Ganesh Chaturthi is round the corner and Deepika is eager to spend the occasion with her family. She says, "I've either been shooting out of the country or just been busy in Mumbai. It’s been a really hectic time for me. I haven't been to my home in Bangalore for three years.”
